"You know what I realize about our generation?"
1) Most of us are trying so hard everyday to please other people just so that we'll be accepted.
2) Girls nowadays don't respect themselves anymore just so that the guys can look at them with desires.
3) Boys are using girls just to raise their social status.
4) Some teenagers are looking down towards the ones who wear the hijab.
5) For them, doing bad things portrayed the motto "YOLO"
Therefore, I am going to explain each one of those statements above, with my opinion. So if you don't agree with it, it's totally cool with me.
1) You know, I see people that are so busy pleasing others and forgot to please themselves. You are so busy making others happy, making them "like" you, doing things that you're not comfortable with just to be accepted & loved? Friendship/relationship/any ship doesn't work like that, darling. Because true friends would stick with you, regardless of your imperfections & weakness. You don't have to pretend to be someone else, and try to be as perfect as you can. Because face it, no one is perfect. Just be yourself, treat yourself with respect, and you're good to go. If they don't accept you for you, then who cares? Would you ready be accepted for the clone fake version of you or for who you really are.. Because in the end of the day, when we die, as we were all born to die, There's no guarantee that those people are going to save us or back us up from answering our bad deeds that we sacrificed for their sake.
2) I get really mad when i see guys not respecting girls. But i get more hurt & disappointed when i see girls that don't respect themselves. They would do anything just to get guys attention, wearing shorts that are just too short that they guys can see half of their ass, Wearing cropped top so that their belly pierced ring can be shown, Being seductive so that they'll attract the opposite sex easily. I know, People get lonely. And sometimes, all they need is just.. love. But that's.. obviously not how you seek for love. That's more like how you seek attention & gain more sins from there. It's you, fulfilling your desires. Not keeping yourself happy with your so called "love" imagination. Wake up, All those attention that you're even getting from those kind of guys are just another temporary desire. Respect yourself first, sisters. Then guys will respect you. Be a wife material, not a back up plan. :)
3) And for boys who, Dating pretty girls, famous girls, wealthy girls, just to gain their social status. Being with them for the sake of being in a relationship to avoid loneliness. And after breaking up with them, he'll go on and tell all his friends the things he did with her, and made her seem obsessed when it's obvious that he's the guilty one. I've met these kind of guys before, and let me tell you, I don't know how Nabi Muhammad S.A.W would feel if he could see how our generation is going back to Zaman Jahiliah. You're not a real guy if you have 20 scandals at a time, you're only a real guy if you're only faithful to one.
4) When girls wear hijab, you call them uptight. You call them boring. You call them religious. But honestly, these scarf that we wrapped on our head, specifically don't cover our brain. We don't do it for you, we do it for Allah SWT. Wearing hijab is to protect ourselves, to gain beauty in a modesty way. We choose what we want to show to you. & It's our rights if we want to keep it for our husband, our whole beauty. Just because one wears hijab, doesn't make them the best muslim. But only the best muslims would wear Hijab. You said we're not free, we're too uptight & too devoted towards islam? But No, wearing hijab is our freedom. Freedom from fearing what other's are going to say. Cause in this world, we were born to please Allah SWT, not the damaged society we're living in.
5) Well Y. O. L. O (You only live once) does not mean that you have to do rebel things just to make your life oh-so-dangerously interesting. The motto gives a positive meaning which is to live your life to the right way, because we only live once. And these one living time are the one we should be fighting for our way to Jannah, not fighting our way to fame, fortune, & fairytale. All those rebel things you do will only guide you to the hell way. Say.. Drinking? You get hangover. Taking drugs? You'll get overdosed. Free sex? You'll get HIV. Think, of what you want to be.
Change, start now.
It's never too late.
So make your move, because the clock is ticking,
we'll never know when's our time. Allahu'Akbar.
My intention is just to make people realize, no preaching, no nothing.
Salam.
